CarnEvil is a pinkish/orange clear jelly with every color of the rainbow in small hex.  It’s a very thick formula, but it is very easy to get it to the consistency you feel comfortable working with.  I added 6 drops of nail polish thinner, and it was still a little thick, but it was nice and smooth – not gloopy (technically speaking 🙂 )  While I did originally try it with a base color, it just made the whole manicure thick and amateurish looking (bumpy, and I couldn’t create smooth edges because it was so thick with the additional layer).

The photos above, actually don’t have anything but a clear base coat, and 2 layers of CarnEvil.  I like it – no topcoat needed to smooth out the glitter, because they seem to sink into the jelly.  Nice 🙂

This polish, after much experimenting with Kaleidoscope  (I’m down to just a little over half of the 15ml bottle I received) – it turns out, this polish looks best on it’s own.  Having a clear base with pale shimmer, tiny yellow glitter and a few bigger matte colored hex pieces – I thought for sure it would look awesome over black.   But, it really doesn’t need it.  The best base color I used was a light mint green, but I thought it showed best all by itself.  No underwear 😉

What can I say about 25.000 Italian Imported Twinkle Lights?  Holo everything!  Shreds, shimmer, glitter!  Makes a great effects topper for anyone (like me :)) who loves holo!
