The only thing I have to say about this manicure is about the baby blue base color I used….it’s a “Cynthia Rowley New York” polish that I picked up at “Winner’s”. In my opinion….it is the absolute worst formula I have in my collection, and would suggest that if you ever come across this polish – steer clear…waste. of. money. There was no name on the bottle, but an engraved number 53 on the bottle bottom.
As you can see in the photo – it looks extremely sporadically grainy. That look, is with only one coat of the actual polish, and THREE coats of Seche Vite.
My manicure quality, and my cuticles (!) are seriously taking a beating. I am so sorry for how crappy these mani’s are getting (and late!), but I will most definitely finish out this Challenge as best I can, and before Christmas!!
Goodness, after I post this – I am having a marathon manicuring / wrapping / no sleep 30 hours before we’re all sitting opening up the presents I just lovingly wrapped….lol It’s all good! Merry Christmas!!!! (almost!!!)
This manicure is “Fruit cake” themed:
And in a little while, I will be posting my “Rudolph” manicure!!
I know, I know…I’m behind on this one. I just kept avoiding. The mess, the cleanup, the frustration because I suck at it! All of those things played a part of why this post is late….and the very bare minimum 😉 Just pics and onto better things!
Lots of sweet treats to choose from for today’s challenge! Sweets & Candy
But, most of my fantastic ideas were to difficult for me 🙂 So, I went with Chocolate and Sprinkles.
And….the sprinkles were picked off within ten minutes of taking these pictures 🙂 I suppose they aren’t very practical! Yummy looking though, I think 🙂
Let’s see, tomorrows challenge is…..oh no….Water Marble. The only theme I was truly not looking forward too…. eeek!
Ugly Sweater Day!!! Wehewww!!
So many options to choose from 🙂 And this is the sweater my nails are inspired by…very U.G.L.Y. (“you ain’t got no alibi” remember that song??)
(Hey!! I just realized I am past 100 followers! wow! Thanks for following 🙂 )
This mani was so much fun 🙂 I finally had an excuse to use the flocking powder I picked up at the art store the other day!
Tomorrows theme: Sweets and Candy…..(YUMMM!)
This theme is so wide open to interpretation, I’m very excited to see what everyone comes up with!
My “Something Classic” is simply a bright red manicure. In terms of manicures, french or red are classics 🙂
But of course, I just wouldn’t feel right about one of MY manicures…if I didn’t add some glitter ! 🙂 Because, you know….I LOVE GLITTER!!! (and also a few studs to cover up a smudge on my thumb nail…heh heh)
Now, I have to go searching through my husbands closet to get inspiration for tomorrows challenge.
(just joking my honey bunny!! 😉 you have great taste in clothes)
