Multiple sclerosis (or MS) is a chronic, often disabling disease that attacks the central nervous system (CNS), which is made up of the brain, spinal cord, and optic nerves. Symptoms may be mild, such as numbness in the limbs, or severe, such as paralysis or loss of vision. The progress, severity, and specific symptoms of MS are unpredictable and vary from one person to another. Today, new treatments and advances in research are giving new hope to people affected by the disease.

I was diagnosed with MS myself a year ago. I’ve learned a lot the last year and I am sure that I will not let this…

An open letter to Victoria’s Secret regarding their choice to make an underwear line aimed at young teenagers. (Read about it here)

Dear Victoria’s Secret,

I am a father of a three year old girl. She loves princesses, Dora the Explorer, Doc McStuffins and drawing pictures for people. Her favorite foods are peanut butter and jelly, cheese and pistachios.

Even though she is only three, as a parent I have had those thoughts of my daughter growing up and not being the little girl she is now. It is true what they say about kids, they grow up fast. No matter how hard I try I know that she will not be the little ball of energy she is now; one day she will be a rebellious teenager that will more than likely think her dad is a total goof ball and would want to distance herself from my…

How Babies Are Made – the Canadian way!

This was way too cute not to share.  Sorry about the lack of nail polish related content 🙂

How Babies are Made..

Canadian photographer Patrice Laroche surely will have no trouble explaining to his kids about the birds and the bees…
During his wife Sandras pregnancy, the artist created this hilarious explanatory photo series titled “How to Make a Baby”. The creative couple planned and carried out their project throughout the whole period of 9 months, taking pictures in the exact same settings as Sandra’s belly expanded. The pregnancy saga of Sandra and Patrice basically denounces all the traditional cabbage and the stork stories.

Shortest post ever….Spam sucks!

Ugh!  What was up with the spammers this weekend???  Over 200 spam in my box after just clearing it 3 days ago!

I don’t need a larger penis, thank you for asking.

I have no need for discount drugs, or erectile dis-function medication.

Please do not send me your link to designer hand bags, “genuine” Uggs at 75% off or Sunglasses.

And no, I don’t need a new web host, or a way to get more traffic – and I don’t care if you think my writing style is something you can help me with.

Thank goodness for the Akismet thingy that catches most of it.

Rant over 🙂
